Mohammad Ali did his LLB Honours through the University of London (External Programme) at Islamabad School of Law from 2001-2004. He is a partner in Cox & Palmer’s Halifax office, a top 20 Canadian law firm, and currently leads the Ocean Innovation Industry Group at the firm.

Before his move to Canada in 2014 to reunite with his family, Mohammad Ali was a regional general counsel for a Fortune 25-Company. In addition to being qualified to practice in Canada, Mohammad Ali is also qualified to practice in England (Solicitor) and Pakistan (Advocate High Courts).

Mohammad Ali’s practice is focused on supporting businesses in a wide variety of sectors including clients in energy, ocean technology, and defense, security and marine sectors. He is regularly engaged by clients to advise on complex procurement and project development matters from variety of sectors-ranging from hotel and resort development to tidal energy projects.

Amna completed her LL.B(Hons) from Islamabad School of Law in 2008. She pursued the Bar Vocational Course at City University, London and was called to the Hon’ble Society of Lincoln’s Inn. She started litigating in 2010 and enrolled as an Advocate High Court in 2011. Currently Amna is a Senior Associate at ABS & Co. 

From 2013 – 2015 Amna served as a Judicial Law Clerk at the Hon’ble Supreme Court of Pakistan. In 2015 she got the Chevening Scholarship Award which led to an LL.M in International and Comparative Dispute Resolution from Queen Mary University of London, with distinctions in Islamic Finance and International Construction Contract. 

Her areas of practice include Constitutional Law, Commercial Law, Banking, Telecommunication, Land Acquisition and Registration, International Trade Law, Power and Energy, Labour and Service Disputes, and International Procurement.
