Suleman graduated with a LL.B (Hons) upper division from the Islamabad School of Law in 2002. During his final year of law, he joined Amhurst Brown (Islamabad) as an intern, eventually progressing to senior associate. In 2004, Suleman proceeded to the Inns of Court School of Law, London to undertake the Bar Vocational Course. 

Suleman graduated from the London School of Economics with a LL.M in International Business Law in 2010 and is the founding Partner of Khan & Muezzin – Barristers. Aside from rendering legal services in both contentious and non-contentious areas of legal practice, Suleman takes great interest in family and commercial mediation. 

He also has a keen interest in the study of national and international legal and policy issues, especially in the context of Islamic Jurisprudence. He has remained a visiting lecturer at a number of institutions, including the Islamabad School of Law.
